Residential Stays
24/7 supervised residential support for residence transfers
What Are Residential Stays?
Residential stays involve our professionals living with the family during the transfer of residence process. This provides continuous support and ensures the child feels safe and secure in their new environment. Residential stays are particularly useful when the child needs intensive support to adjust to their new home.
Our Approach
Our approach to residential stays includes:
1. Continuous Support
Our professionals live with the family, providing 24/7 support.
2. Creative Solutions:
For many people the family home is just not set up to have a small team of social workers in situ and we are used to sourcing and booking alternative accommodation where the family can have the space- physical as well as emotional- to adjust to the new dynamics, with our help.
3. Engaging Activities
We engage in day-to-day activities with the family, such as cooking and bedtime routines, to help rebuild attachment.
4. Emotional Support
We offer coaching and emotional support to both the child and the parents.
When Are Residential Stays Needed?
Residential stays are needed when:
Intensive Support is Required
